Delphis Eco has announced a new partnership with Holleys Fine Foods to increase the availability of environmentally responsible cleaning products across the UK. The agreement brings together a manufacturer of eco-focused cleaning solutions and a national wholesaler supplying independent retailers and foodservice operators.
The collaboration will see Holleys Fine Foods introduce the full Delphis Eco product range through its distribution network. The announcement comes ahead of the Farm Shop & Deli Show, where Holleys will launch a new online Marketplace category featuring the products.
Holleys Fine Foods supplies farm shops, delis, garden centres and hospitality businesses nationwide. The addition of Delphis Eco products reflects a shift in procurement priorities, as operators look to reduce environmental impact across supply chains while maintaining product performance.
Delphis Eco has been active in the cleaning sector’s transition away from conventional materials. The company was the first in Europe to introduce 100% recycled plastic bottles at scale, contributing to wider uptake of recycled packaging. Its products are plant-based, biodegradable and designed to reduce risks to both users and aquatic environments.
Under the agreement, Holleys will stock a range of items including washing up liquid, multi-purpose cleaner, bathroom cleaner, heavy-duty degreaser, non-bio washing powder and stain remover. The products are intended for use across both retail and hospitality settings, where cleaning standards remain high but expectations around environmental performance are increasing.
The partnership also aligns with wider regulatory and market pressures affecting the food and retail sectors. Businesses are facing tighter requirements around packaging, chemical use and emissions, alongside increased scrutiny from customers and supply chain partners. Expanding access to lower-impact cleaning products through established wholesale channels offers a practical route for operators to respond.
Denzil Holley, Category Manager – Marketplace at Holleys, said:
“At Holleys Fine Foods, we are committed to sourcing products that meet the highest standards of quality, performance and sustainability. Partnering with Delphis Eco enables us to offer solutions that help our customers reduce their environmental impact, while maintaining the standards their businesses rely on.
“As expectations around sustainability continue to evolve, it is important that we support our customers with products that contribute to more responsible supply chains and more sustainable everyday operations.”
The launch of the Marketplace category marks a broader development for Holleys, as it expands its digital offering and product range. The inclusion of cleaning products alongside food and drink lines reflects a more integrated approach to sourcing across retail and hospitality businesses.
For Delphis Eco, the partnership extends its reach into new customer segments. By working with a wholesaler that already supplies a large network of independent businesses, the company is aiming to increase adoption of its products at scale.
Mark Jankovich, CEO of Delphis Eco, added:
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Holleys Fine Foods to extend the reach of our sustainable cleaning range across the UK.
“There is a clear and growing need to move beyond incremental change and towards solutions that deliver meaningful environmental impact. Through this partnership, we are making it easier for businesses to adopt products that reduce plastic use, minimise harmful chemicals and support lower-impact operations.
“Holleys shares our commitment to driving positive change, and together we can help accelerate the shift towards more sustainable practices across retail and foodservice.”
The move comes at a time when supply chain transparency and environmental performance are becoming more central to business operations. In the food and hospitality sectors, where margins are often tight, access to competitively priced alternatives that meet both operational and environmental requirements is a key consideration.
Wholesale distributors are playing a growing role in this transition. By curating product ranges that align with changing standards and expectations, they can influence purchasing decisions across a wide customer base. Partnerships such as this one provide a mechanism for scaling access to products that may otherwise be limited to niche markets.
The cleaning products sector has seen increased scrutiny in recent years, particularly around the use of chemicals and single-use plastics. Moves towards recycled packaging, safer formulations and reduced environmental impact are becoming more common, though adoption remains uneven across different parts of the market.
By integrating Delphis Eco’s range into its offering, Holleys Fine Foods is positioning itself to meet these changing expectations. The partnership also reflects a broader trend of collaboration between manufacturers and distributors to address environmental challenges within existing commercial frameworks.
The full product range will be available through Holleys Fine Foods’ Marketplace platform following its launch. The companies expect the partnership to support wider uptake of lower-impact cleaning products across independent retail and foodservice businesses in the UK.
