A group of European and American high net worth individuals have invested £350,000 in Cascade Water. This investment allows the Scottish water technology company to accelerate production and expand their distribution market. The micro greywater recycling system captures and treats water from showers and baths for re-use in toilet flushing. It aims to reduce domestic water consumption by up to 45%.
This technology is the culmination of a decade of research and development by couple Carolyn Hogg and Peter Holdsworth. The system has been operating within the founders’ home for over three years.
