An international education company has launched ‘Tmrw,’ a new Learning Operating System (LearnOS) for global education.
The LearnOS is produced by GEMS Education and is scalable; they have a mission to provide every child with a quality education.
The new LearnOS software has an integrated platform and was built with the intention of being affordable and accessible to any student – regardless of their ability to pay or whether they live in a developed or developing country.
Throughout out its design and construction, Tmrw has been a teacher-led project, one which aims to support the learning, teaching, and operational needs of both lower and higher education.
Tmrw aims to provide an educational system that delivers more than a traditional, stand-alone learning, or school management system, something which the outbreak of COVID-19 has shown is needed.
The LearnOS platform includes modules to manage and oversee the curriculum, assessment, and track student progress. It has non-academic functionalities such as sports management, counselling and well-being.
It allows schools to manage parent and student relations and includes custom-built health and child safeguarding features.
It also includes back-office operations such as revenue management, HR, payroll, finance, and procurement.
LearnOS Features
- Tmrw Academy, which focuses on professional development.
- An Education Command Centre, providing real-time decision making for policy makers.
- Tech-in-a-box, the comprehensive technology backbone that covers the school ecosystem.
- Tmrw Advisory Services on curriculum designs, school improvements, education strategies, and digital transformations.
“Quality education is the great equaliser,” said Mr. Sunny Varkey, Chairman and Founder of Tmrw and GEMS Education.
“It bridges the gap between the rich and the poor and gives us the greatest opportunity to improve the state of our world.
“Ultimately, our vision is to give every child their birth-right of a great education and provide hope for a better future.
“We have built this platform to be accessible and affordable for government-funded schools throughout the world to help improve learning outcomes wherever we can.”
