Lolly, Hospital Software Specialist, is showcasing its commitment to reducing environmental impact by fully offsetting its Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions for 2024 with Circular Ecology, an equivalent of 50 tCO2. Lolly continues to embed sustainability across the business, working with sustainability consultancy Lansdowne Warwick to achieve its 2030 net zero targets.

Paving The Way to Net Zero
Lolly is utilizing a variety of offsetting and sustainability projects to reduce its carbon footprint across all areas of the company. This year’s carbon offsetting included the support of Gold Standard Renewable Energy projects such as the planting of 200 UK trees, with the additional benefit of biodiversity restoration.
Lansdowne Warwick is providing Lolly with tailored environmental advice to help them transition to net zero. This includes practical measures such as the full transition to LED lighting and the installation of EV charging points, highlighting the long term planning in line with the UK’s 2035 zero emission vehicle targets.
Peter Moore, CEO at Lolly, expressed his commitment to their net zero roadmap: “Working alongside Lansdowne Warwick to offset our 2024 emissions is another important step in our long-term sustainability journey. We’re committed to taking meaningful action now while building the foundations for a lower-carbon future for our business and our sector and we’re delighted with how far we have already come.”
A Sustainable Supply Chain
Lolly has not only been looking to reduce its carbon emissions within the premises but also further down the supply chain. They recognise that this is where there is most potential for long term environmental consequences. Their new collaborative efforts with suppliers to improve sustainability are all overseen by their newly established Environmental and CSR Committee, and include responsible sourcing, improved material visibility and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Liz Warwick, environmental and CSR consultant at Lansdowne Warwick, commends Lolly’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint: “Lolly has shown a clear and genuine commitment to embedding sustainability across its business. It has been inspiring to work with a leadership team that understands the urgency of climate action and drives meaningful change from the top down. Their net-zero roadmap ensures every decision – from energy use to transport – is being made with their goals in mind.”
Technology Providers and Sustainable Business
Lolly’s commitment to reduce carbon emissions at every level of the business can serve as an example of what is possible to other technology providers looking to improve sustainability and move towards net zero. By working with Lansdowne Warwick to plan ahead Lolly will be ahead of the curve with the installation of essential EV charging infrastructure and the implementation of sustainable business strategies at every stage of the supply chain.
As more businesses collaborate with sustainable consultancies such as Lansdowne Warwick, there will continue to be more examples that show that profitability and efficiency can go hand and hand with the move to net zero, and provide further momentum to the sustainability movement throughout the business community.
A Positive Step
Lolly’s success in meeting their 2024 offsetting targets shows what is possible when following a clear environmental strategy, and their determination to continue working towards net zero alongside Lansdowne Warwick is an inspiring demonstration of what can be done with a long term roadmap of sustainability initiatives and specialist advice.
