EQS Group has announced the release of EQS Insights, a new analytics and reporting module within its Compliance COCKPIT platform. The Munich-based provider of cloud software for compliance, data privacy, sustainability management, and investor relations said the tool is designed to give organisations a clearer, consolidated view of compliance risk, trends, and outcomes.
The new module aggregates data from across the Compliance COCKPIT into standardised visualisations, offering compliance teams a programme-wide perspective. According to EQS Group, this enables organisations to assess performance and demonstrate effectiveness to management and regulators without relying on additional analytics tools or specialist expertise.
Compliance data is often spread across multiple systems, spreadsheets, and reports that do not connect. This fragmentation can make it difficult for organisations to identify patterns, assess risk exposure, or provide clear evidence of programme performance. At the same time, regulatory expectations and board-level scrutiny are increasing, placing greater pressure on compliance teams to move beyond manual reporting and isolated metrics.
EQS Insights is positioned as a response to these challenges, bringing together disparate data into a single environment. The module provides dashboards that present key indicators across the compliance programme, allowing users to monitor activity levels, track trends, and review outcomes in one place.
“We’re seeing a clear shift in compliance from output to outcome,” said Anka Lappoehn, Chief Product Officer at EQS Group. “Internal and external stakeholders want evidence that compliance measures are effective – not just that activities have taken place. This shift requires programs to be data-driven and auditable over time. With EQS Insights, organizations can break down silos across key compliance areas and replace fragmented metrics with a consistent, program-level view. It enables compliance teams to assess, monitor, and demonstrate their performance in one place.”
The module includes preset and customisable dashboards that allow compliance managers to view the overall health of their programme at a glance. Rather than reviewing separate reports, users can track volumes, trends, and key indicators through a unified interface.
EQS Insights also introduces visualisation tools aimed at identifying patterns and potential risks earlier. By presenting operational signals across regions, departments, or issue categories, the system is intended to surface recurring concerns that may not be visible when reviewing individual cases in isolation.
For more detailed analysis, users can apply filters to focus on specific geographies, business units, risk categories, or time periods. This functionality allows compliance teams to move between high-level oversight and more granular investigation within the same system.
Another feature of the module is its focus on audit readiness and regulatory alignment. EQS Insights tracks metrics such as response times, handling consistency, and follow-up actions, which are commonly required in regulatory reviews and internal audits. Access to data is managed through role-based permissions, aligning visibility with compliance responsibilities across the organisation.
The platform also supports report generation for boards, auditors, and regulators. Users can export standardised, audit-ready reports directly from the system, reducing the need for manual data compilation and formatting.
The introduction of EQS Insights reflects a broader shift in how organisations approach compliance management. As expectations evolve, there is increasing emphasis on demonstrating outcomes and effectiveness rather than simply documenting activities. This has led to greater demand for integrated systems that can provide consistent, traceable data across compliance functions.
Digitalisation has played a key role in this shift, with organisations seeking to replace fragmented processes with centralised platforms. In this context, tools that combine data aggregation, visualisation, and reporting are becoming part of wider efforts to improve governance, risk management, and transparency.
EQS Group’s Compliance COCKPIT is designed to bring together different elements of compliance management, including whistleblowing, case management, policy management, and third-party due diligence. The addition of EQS Insights extends this approach by introducing a dedicated analytics layer across these functions.
By connecting data points across the compliance lifecycle, the company aims to provide organisations with a clearer understanding of how their programmes are performing over time. This includes the ability to track trends, measure response effectiveness, and identify areas that may require attention.
The launch comes at a time when regulatory frameworks are becoming more complex across multiple jurisdictions. Companies are expected to demonstrate not only that compliance structures are in place, but also that they are functioning effectively. This has increased the importance of reliable data and consistent reporting.
EQS Insights is intended to support these requirements by providing a structured view of compliance activities and outcomes. The system’s emphasis on standardised reporting and audit readiness reflects the need for organisations to present clear, verifiable information to stakeholders.
The module is now available as part of the EQS Compliance COCKPIT platform.
