Delphis Eco Helps Perfect Hygiene Cut Carbon Emissions by 79.46% in Just 12 Months

Partnership avoids 9.69 tonnes of CO₂e – equivalent to 46,800 car miles

Multi-award-winning UK manufacturer, certified B Corp and the UK’s number one eco-cleaning brand Delphis Eco has helped Perfect Hygiene, the largest independent hygiene and clinical waste provider in Northeast Scotland, achieve a 79.46% reduction in carbon emissions over the past 12 months.

By switching from conventional chemical cleaners to Delphis Eco products, Perfect Hygiene has avoided 9.69 tonnes of CO₂e, the equivalent of removing 46,800 car miles from the road – without compromising cleaning performance or operational efficiency.

The reduction has been delivered solely through product substitution, immediately lowering the embodied carbon and emissions footprint of the cleaning solutions supplied to customers.

Since 2022, Delphis Eco has supplied Perfect Hygiene with a full range of washroom and multi-surface cleaning products, including:

  • Washroom Cleaner
  • Glass & Stainless Steel Cleaner
  • Daily Use Toilet Cleaner
  • Multi-Purpose Cleaner

(available in 700ml and 5L formats)

Auditable carbon reporting drives measurable impact

In 2024, Delphis Eco became the first UK cleaning-chemical manufacturer to introduce personalised, auditable Carbon Reports for customers. These reports allow organisations such as Perfect Hygiene to clearly quantify how their product choices reduce emissions across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, providing robust data to support ESG and net zero reporting.

Delphis Eco has also partnered with Quiver in London to offer zero-emission same-day and next-day delivery to customers within a seven-mile radius of its Vauxhall facility. Each delivery saves an average of 2.2kg of CO₂, further reducing customers’ operational emissions.

Industry-leading sustainability in action

Mark Jankovich, CEO of Delphis Eco, said:

“Perfect Hygiene’s commitment to meaningful, measurable action makes them exactly the kind of partner we love to work with. By switching to our washroom and multi-surface cleaning range, they’ve cut carbon without compromising on performance, proving that sustainability and operational excellence go hand in hand.

We’re incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved and excited to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible together.”

Michelle Gray, Divisional Manager at Perfect Hygiene, added:

“We’re committed to helping our customers make greener choices that deliver real, measurable impact – and that’s why we work with the best.

Delphis Eco is the UK’s most sustainable cleaning chemical brand, with packaging that reflects its values. Their products sit at the heart of our sustainable range, and we’re delighted to have achieved a 79.46% carbon saving. We look forward to seeing these products become even more carbon-efficient over time.”
