
iON+ and ACCURE Battery Intelligence have formed a partnership to improve access to battery energy storage system data for owners and operators. The arrangement combines iON+’s data and asset performance management capabilities, developed by Conrad Energy, with ACCURE’s battery analytics platform, which supports more than 24 GWh of capacity worldwide. High-frequency BESS data will be transferred to ACCURE in near real time, while corrected State of Energy values can be returned for dispatch and trading decisions. The partners say the integration can help release tradable megawatt-hours, reduce exposure to mis-delivery penalties and support higher asset availability.
A Data Bridge For Storage
Battery storage operators increasingly need reliable, granular operational information to manage assets commercially as well as technically. The new data bridge is intended to reduce the work involved in integrating data from BESS portfolios into ACCURE’s analytics environment, providing extraction and recording of high-frequency points from battery systems.
iON+ will provide data services and support to ACCURE customers, enabling comprehensive BESS data to move into the analytics platform in near real time. The service forms part of iON+’s modular offering for battery storage and other renewable energy assets, which includes tools for operation, dispatch, optimisation and analysis.

Correcting State Of Energy
A central feature of the partnership is the ability to return corrected State of Energy, or SoE, values to asset owners. SoE informs decisions on dispatch and trading, particularly where a battery’s available energy could otherwise be overstated or understated.
According to the companies, ACCURE’s analysis can identify energy that would otherwise remain unavailable for trading. More accurate values can also help operators avoid mis-delivery penalties where reported available energy is higher than the energy the asset can deliver.
The commercial case has been tested at ACCURE client Gore Street Capital’s 75 MW Dogfish site in Texas. The one-hour BESS recorded projected annual benefits above $110,000, equivalent to roughly a 5% uplift against average BESS trading revenues in ERCOT. Corrected values went live at the site in July 2026 without new hardware.
Cell Level Asset Visibility
Beyond trading decisions, the integrated service is designed to support daily performance management across battery portfolios. ACCURE’s platform provides an independent view of assets down to cell level, alongside performance engineering support for owners and operators.
This continuous monitoring can identify issues such as imbalance before they develop into wider operational constraints and remove capacity from the market. Keeping more capacity available can lower maintenance costs and extend the operating life of battery assets, strengthening the revenue case for long-term storage investment.
ACCURE’s monitoring approach has also been recognised by insurers Aviva and HDI as part of their underwriting. For storage owners, this places operational data quality alongside performance, risk management and commercial availability in the assessment of a BESS portfolio.
